PRAYER & INTERCESSION

Prayer Works

Prayer is the foundation of our church. Jesus prayed, and so we pray and do not faint. We gather for weekly intercessory prayer every Wednesday and Sunday morning.

Through prayer, we seek God’s presence, listen for His voice, and bring our needs—and the needs of others—before Him.

A woman with long dark hair and medium skin tone is standing with her eyes closed, wearing a light gray and black color block sweater and dark jeans, in an indoor setting.

Fasting

Fasting is a way we intentionally set aside time to seek God more deeply. At the beginning of the year, we observe a 14-day fast, and at the end of each month, we observe a 3-day fast.

We fast as an act of devotion, creating space to listen, pray, and realign our hearts with God’s purposes. We also fast as we are led by the Holy Spirit, responding in obedience and sensitivity to God’s direction. If you have never fasted before, there is grace and guidance available—start where you are, and participate at a level that feels both prayerful and wise.

Ways to Get Involved

Intercessory and personal prayer have been carefully woven into our program.

A man with dark skin, wearing a blue shirt and a watch, has his hands clasped together with his eyes closed, appearing to pray. In the background, another man with dark skin is drinking from a bottle, with a dark curtain and window behind them.
